|Duties:||The dental assistant reports to the Dental Centre Manager and performs the a variety of dental assisting duties:|
•Assists the doctor, educates patients, and communicates effectively with patients, families and other team members.
•Promotes quality, comfortable dental care for patients in a stress-free, safe environment.
•Maintains equipment, inventory and ensures proper infection control and X-Ray safety.
•Directly contributes to the profitability and success of the office by providing efficient technical assistance, supplies, equipment and environment necessary to achieve this objective.
|Qualifications:||We are looking for individuals who have demonstrated high records of achievement and possess strong, interpersonal communication combined with a strong commitment towards teamwork. |
•High School Diploma
•Dental assisting certificate - Level II
•2+ years of dental assisting (Level II) experience
•Proficiency in computers
•Proven leadership capabilities
•Dentrix knowledge would be an asset
•Great attitude, commitment and willingness to learn
